French Fries

By air frying French fries in the Invoq oven, you can achieve the same crispy texture as traditional deep frying but with up to 70% less oil. This healthier alternative also reduces costs without sacrificing flavour.

Ingredients

1kg frozen French fries (e.g. 15 mm Café Gigant from Flensted, prepped in rapeseed oil) Oil spray (optional) Salt

Preparation

1 Start with frozen French fries for the best results. Spread them in a single layer in the SteamFry wire basket, using 1 kg per basket. 2 Lightly spray the fries with oil. For fries prepped in rapeseed oil (like Café Gigant), minimal to no extra oil is needed when air frying in the Invoq oven.

Cooking steps in Invoq oven

Preheat - 200°C – 2 minutes

Insert tray

CombiSense - 180°C – 10% humidity – 100% fan speed – closed exhaust – 4 minutes

Stir the fries

CombiSense – 200°C – 100% fan speed – open exhaust – 8 minutes
